Resources, Training, Information and More
The Monadnock Center for Successful Transitions (MCST) is a training and technical assistance center providing support to individuals, especially individuals with disabilities, as they transition from high school to adulthood. MCST is also working to improve the employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities by creating and supporting different projects that encourage employment.
Our website offers resources, training notices, literature and assessment information for individuals of all ages and abilities.
The community aspect of our website is where you will find information to assist individuals with disabilities, families, educators, social services, and employers in a variety of topics. The resources available include information on transitioning from high school, preparing to enter the workforce, post secondary education, self advocacy, assessments, and a whole host of other topics.
Monadnock Employment Project
The Monadnock Employment Project is the local aspect of the Statewide Granite State Employment Project. The goal of the project is to improve the employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities ages 14-65. The project seeks to enhance the community infrastructure that supports employment opportunities for those with a wide variety of disabilities, including but not limited to developmental, behavioral health, physical, chronic health, sensory and visual impairments. The project does not provide case management or direct service - instead it is looking to create training and broaden the variety of employment opportunities within the Keene and Peterborough areas.
MCST is a project of Monadnock Developmental Services, and is made possible under an Agreement with the State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Developmental Services, with Medicaid Infrastucture Grant funds provided by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under CFDA 93.768.
